All Sebastian Janikowski had to do was kick a 32-yard field goal and the Oakland Raiders would be 2-1, but no, it ended up being his third missed field goal of the game. The loss obviously is not all his fault, but Janikowski is a professional and missing a kick like that is inexcusable. Tom Cable also might want to think about letting the ball go through the uprights before starting to celebrate.
The Raiders did, however, seem to play well overall, and the offense was in sync with Bruce Gradkowski at the helm. Gradkowski finished 17 for 34, 255 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
Darren McFadden is off to a terrific season. He currently has the 3rd most rushing yards in the NFL with 345. He rushed for 105 yards on 25 carries with 1 touchdown against the Cardinals.
The Raiders are now 1-2, along with the Chargers and Broncos, as the Chiefs are alone at the top of the AFC West at 3-0. The Raiders will host the Houston Texans in Oakland on Sunday, October 3rd.

Raiders fans had a hard time fighting off the feeling of deja vu on Sunday, as they watched their Raiders’ offense look just as bad as last season’s.
The Raiders looked completely out of sync in all aspects offensively, except for a bright spot at running back with Darren McFadden. McFadden could have a big season if he stays healthy.
Quarterback Jason Campbell finished the game 22 for 37, 180 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.
The Raiders are 0-1 and head home to play the St. Louis Rams on Sunday Sept. 19th at 1:05pm.
